General Play Behavior For Love Birds
(complied over more than 10 years of play behavior studies & research)

Love birds can be as different as day & night from one bird to the next,
as far as play behavior is concerned.
Some Love Birds are more destructive with toys & love wood toys while others do not.
They all seem to like shredding materials such as corn husk, cane, palm, etc..
Paper is always a big hit!
Generally they all love bells, the kind that will get your attention & make a racket.
Foot  toys should be encouraged although not all Love birds will accept them.
Love Birds will usually love or hate a particular color but
"what" color & "why" is any ones guess.
Swings, bouncers and boings are usually a good choice for these parrots.
Most LB's will enjoy and accept a Sleeper of some type.
